1. Educational Qualifications.
- Degree or Diploma: A degree or diploma in business administration, real estate, property management, or a related field - Other considered courses are; Diploma in Real Estate (Property) Management.
- Short Courses: in property management, covering tenant relations, maintenance, legal aspects, and basic accounting.
- Certification:certification from recognized bodies (e.g., Estate Agents Registration Board (EARB)) enhances credibility.
2. Required Skills & Competencies.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding Kenya’s property market trends, rental laws, and valuation methods.
- Communication & Customer Service: Essential for tenant relations, dispute resolution, and landlord negotiations.
